Franco runs a great operation. I've been dealing with them over the past 10-12 years from them outfitting my Office building to my home theater and all the other TV's around the house. No matter how inept I can be with electronics they always took the time to walk me through it over the phone or sent somebody out if needed. I've recommended them to many of my fiends who all had great experiences as well. Grant and all the other techs are always professional , courteous and most important, PATIENT, with my technology challenges, and that's saying a lot!! I found Automated Lifestyles by accident when visiting in the area. I stopped in to visit with them with no intention of working with them because we where from out of town. We live in Amana Iowa. After visiting with them and telling them of my poor experience working with other home theater company's. They seemed to be very sincere about what they do. Before left we set up a time for them to come to our place and provide a proposal for a new home theater system. We decided to go with them and ordered. Through the whole process they where very professional, explained things well, and told me some things I did not need to spend my money on and suggested other things that would be a good choice. They did the installation for the system. The guy's where very professional at our house also. Since then I have recommended a client of mine who is probably the most picky person I know to use them. They also went with them and where very satisfied with the ease of the job. I have recently recommended them to another client of mine in the area. Mr. Duane Handelman, Automated Lifestyles, designed and implemented a three zone audio system when we remodeled our walk-out basement in the mid 1990's. He also provided an excellent recommendation for a needed skilled cabinet maker. He was running a different business at the time, but continued to provide recommendations for system upgrades after the original installation. The sound system provided fantastic quality, and could upgraded as new technology in hardware became available. Since that time, Automated Lifestyles and Duane have continued to service our audio and video needs. I would highly recommend their services to anyone looking for quality work and excellent service.

We have had the pleasure of dealing with Automated Lifestyles on two different projects. Each of our projects was fairly elaborate, involving multiple rooms including both straight audio listening areas, and dedicated home theatre applications. They have consistently been able to provide timely, convenient, and personalized service to a degree I would not have believed possible. They know how to design a system that brings the most "bang for the buck" result. Never were we encouraged to spend more than what we needed to fill our particular objectives. Always, planning for our future needs and upcoming technology changes are factored in. Our designer was extremely accessible during the project and also afterwards, which is what really matters. All of their employees (we have met four) have been enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and respectful to our people and property, completely trustworthy. Often it is said of a premium service that you get what you pay for. With Automated Lifestyles, we have learned that you get MORE than you paid for.

We are NOT electronic savvy and not afraid to admit it, but they were (are) very patient with us and set us up with a great system that we are enjoying immensely. We built a new house and have 5 TV's, a theater room and whole house music and we run it all from our IPhones or IPads. We also have a couple security cameras that are uploaded to our system as well. If we have any problems, we can give them a call and they will either walk us through the fix or, if needed, come out and fix it. We highly recommend them.

Automated Lifestyles evaluated our new house plans and worked with us to provide the following: 1. Wiring and schematics for a whole house music and technology system 2. Installation of the wiring before drywall work was completed 3. Help with purchasing new technology and sound equipment 4. Installation of all equipment (including some older equipment that we had brought to the new residence) 5. Complete set up of all equipment so that all functioned as described in basic purchase agreement signed for the work to be completed. 6. Came back 6 months after installation to "balance" and adjust all equipment and to help answer questions. the only concern that we had with this process was the "overwhelming" amount of information given to us about the capabilities of our new equipment. . . as a result, we were not getting the full functions of our equipment. We are still learning how to use it and continue to find new benefits to the marvelous system of equipment that was put together for us.

Our family finished our basement and since we enjoy movies we decided to focus on the television and surround sound. We wanted a very nice system at a reasonable cost and the ability to have a second zone in the fitness room. Automated Lifestyles coordinated all of their work with the carpenters who were finishing the basement. They were extremely professional and courteous given the fact that my wife and I knew very little about stereo equipment. I never felt like they were recommending anything extra just to make more money. After the completion, they came back to walk us through the operation of the entire system. Our goal with the project was to create an environment that brought our family closer and create a 'movie theatre' sound system. Each project was scoped accordingly for the need and meticulously installed. And the performance has been outstanding, even as our earlier work has now been installed over a decade ago. We choose to continue to use Automated Lifestyles not only because of the performance, but because they don't over-spec. We replaced 3 TVs in our 12 year old home. We needed to put brackets on the back of two of them as they were being mounted in custom entertainment cabinets that were original to our home. The brackets made the TVs look as if they were floating in the cabinets and could also be pulled out and viewed at any angle depending on the seating arrangement of the room. Another smaller flat screen TV had to be replaced in our office/exercise room. All 3 TVs were replaced efficiently. This company also did all the pre-wiring of our audio/visual cable when our home was built. We've known the owners since then and have always been very pleased with their work. This company is very trustworthy, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I would highly recommend them for any audio/visual project.

We had a new family room added to our house. They checked out the components we had and told us which ones needed to be replaced. They got us the new updated components and large flat screen. They also recommended which style of one to get since this room had so many windows. We also had music added to the master bedroom and the outside which they ran through existing walls. They also updated our original surround sound system adding new updated components and another large flat screen. Everything has worked out great we love the systems. The remotes they got for us works all the components so we don't have to have multiple ones. They got the job done on time, on budget and cleaned up after they were done. I would and have recommend them to people we know. One of the recommendations was for my in-laws which had a TV room done. They also said it was an outstanding job and they would recommend them to others.
